Financial Planning Process
The Financial Planning Process is about developing appropriate strategies to achieve your financial and life goals.
We want to provide you with the security of knowing that you have a plan for your future.
A good financial plan is critical to your financial success.
Step 1: Initial Meetng
Our initial meeting is complementary.
Developing sound financial strategies to achieve your goals is the first step to long-term financial security.
By starting with an understanding of where you are and how we can help you, your planner will work with you to develop a financial plan that will help you achieve your financial goals.
Step 2: Our Proposal To You
We will provide you with a proposal documenting our strategies, timeframes, costs and benefits. We will also discuss the collection and handling of your personal information required.
Step 3: Presentation Of Your Financial Plan
Your Financial Plan (a.k.a. Statement of Advice) is tailored to your financial situation and your financial needs and goals.
We will meet with you to present your plan and discuss:
- our recommended strategies
- how we will implement the advice
- how we get paid i.e. our fees and commissions
- product disclosure statement i.e. detailed information about every product we recommend
- and risks, if any, and how to protect your assets from them
Step 4: On-Going Review Service
Part of any successful Financial Plan is the continual review of the asset performance. This will ensure the plan is on track and achieving the desired financial goals. The frequency of ongoing contats with your planner and costs will form pat of the recommendations and will depend on the complexity of the plan.
